Envy.

We discussed the issue of envy with the children from orphanage #. 8.

When somebody can do something better than you can, there are three possible scenarios. The first scenario is for you to keep practicing and improving yourself in that particular field. The second scenario is to come to realize that this “something” is not for you and that you should find another area or field where you are much more successful and continue your improvement in that direction.

You also have the third scenario which is actually quite regressive and destructive. It is to let envy enter your heart.

Envy often makes people take destructive actions. Envy is a bad adviser. That is why you are better off listening to common sense. You should not let envy into your heart, you should not go down a slippery slope but use the first two above-mentioned constructive scenarios instead.
