Today we are discussing a story

Real friends.

Tom studied in the seventh grade but in a slovenly way,  though he  was  a smart boy and generously endowed by nature with power.

Nevertheless, he used his impressive air in order to denude of money from little ones. This activity was especially easy for him because there were two real friends of him side-by-side. 

Early in the morning, the friends had a stroke of luck and they got a serious prey.

 “This morning, the first-grade kids suddenly grew rich but,  after we put the frighteners on them, we have made some money”,  – gaily joked Tom and his friends on the way to a hideaway so as to  calculate and divide their prey. “All is fine today? And even this heavy rain could not damp our spirits”,- said Tom to his friends who followed in the rear.

“ The rain will not dump your spirits and I will be capable of not only damping your sprits but also damping  your appearance if you don’t give back what is in your pockets!” – heard Tom as Nick suddenly rolled up behind their back.

“A fight is going to happen”, - quickly imagined Tom. But he did not worry much because he thought that, though Nick was older and stronger, there were three of them and the balance of power  was not in Nick’s favour.

“There is nothing to be had here”, - answered Tom bravely,  knowing that his friends will come to his  help.

Then a fight ensued. A minute or two passed.  Ton went on fighting but his friends did not helped him out. They escaped as though gone with the wind.

What was happening reminded from outside a fight between a profi and a greener, With this battle being unequal, the latest kick knocked Tom down  to the ground.

Tim regained conscience only in an aid post.

“What’s the matter with me?”- asked Tom with a soft voice addressing to the doctor.

 “Shouldn't  you remember?   You were bitten, fell unconscious into a puddle and  quaffed a lot of water.  Only for first-grade kids you ….. I cannot imagine how they managed to bring you here. They rescued you, you are lucky to have such friends”.

Later, Tom learned that it was these first-grade kids from whom he collected money from.
