Positive example by a woman.

We are a society, where everyone copies those who are important to us. There are many cases in history when women had great impact on what happened in the world.Globally, the impact takes place not only in the world, but in our families and the inner world of those who are nearby.The changes can be positive, but unfortunately, negative as well. That is why we immensely need positive examples from women. Women often shoulder a burden of great responsibility and make a difference.

During the meeting Chelsea McShurley told children about women who made a difference despite any difficulties in their lives. The thing was that while the children thought that these were schoolmates, who should be followed, they have also voiced the opinion that they wanted to become the example for other people around! Later on Chelsea shared pens, pencils, postcards, and envelopes, which they could use to write letters to those whom they considered to be important in their lives. Those who could not write made drawings. We have also watched the cartoon “Esther” – a story about a girl who played a part in saving an entire nation. At the end the children got prizes and gifts.We say thank you to those who made the meeting - Chelsea McShurley, Mario Viehmann, and Oksana.We are grateful to the volunteers, who participated in our project and as a result made a difference for the children, but are also eager to be a better example for everyone around.We appreciate Nataliiya Abornyeva in particular for her being a good example for people nearby!
