Today we discussed with kids the following subject:

WAR AND PEACE.

 People are used to resolving their conflicts through war.

When we listen to the stories about war we often hear such concepts as heroism, solidarity, brotherhood… but also we can hear something like this:

“I have seen a war and this experience has changed my life priorities. I’ve learned to appreciate life itself and what I have. I’ve realized that the main purpose of man’s life is not to make a million but to search for love, to devote time to your family and friends”.

“I was dreaming of a glass of clean water and I would have paid all of my money for it”.

“I often saw my home and my mother’s flowers in my dreams”.

***

“We often sat in a circle and read each other letters from home”

 So, do we need to be in such a situation to start to appreciate the most important things like family, love and friends?

 OF COURSE, WE DON’T!

Thank God we have a peaceful sky above our heads so we must appreciate life, love, family, friends and show heroism and mutual assistance in our daily life!

 The kids were listening very carefully and took part in the common discussion.

 After the meeting was over the children received incentive gifts.
